The Clive Davis Institute, located in Brooklyn at NYU's new hub for innovation and collaboration, is the first and only program of its kind to provide professional business and artistic training toward a BFA in Recorded Music. The institute aims to equip students with the necessary business, creative, and intellectual skills to emerge as visionary creative entrepreneurs in the evolving global music industry.
Students are encouraged to develop innovative musical ideas, envision new business models, work collaboratively, cultivate intellectual rigor and artistic experimentation, and assume leadership roles in the art and commerce of creating and selling recorded music.
