Girls Behind The Rock Show is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization and is one of the largest online platforms and resources for women and gender-nonconforming people in the music industry.

We seek to empower and educate through the creation of programs that give marginalized genders the opportunity to achieve their career goals and take their first steps within the music industry. We believe that when everyone has a voice, opportunity flourishes.

Girls Behind the Rock Show was founded in 2015 to help more women become involved in the music industry by building connections and forging community at the ground level. In the past 8 years, we have cultivated a community of over 15,000 women and gender-diverse people and have provided music industry beginners and professionals with career opportunities, internships, shadowing experiences, learning experiences and more through our networking group and partnership programs.
