Music Austria is an independent, non-profit association founded in 1994 on the initiative of the Republic of Austria. Its primary goals are to provide information on the Austrian music scene, support Austria-based musicians with advice and information, promote local music at home and abroad, and improve the conditions for music productions in Austria. Music Austria offers a wide range of services, including a comprehensive music database, online sheet music shop, and practical workshops on topics such as marketing, copyright, and funding opportunities. As the Austrian Music Export, Music Austria works closely with the Austrian Music Fund to represent Austrian music at international trade shows, conferences, and festivals.
