The Music Performance Trust Fund (MPTF) is a non-profit organization dedicated to enriching communities across the United States and Canada by providing free, live musical performances by professional musicians. Established in 1948, the MPTF operates under a landmark agreement between the American Federation of Musicians and major recording companies. Through a royalty stream from these companies, the MPTF presents thousands of admission-free concerts annually, spanning various genres from classical to jazz, pop to Broadway.
