Sunset: The Festival at The Espee - The inaugural showcase will take place March 7-8, 2025, and feature eight notable bands including Spoon, Santigold, Band of Horses, plus many more!

Sunset aims to also foster the growth of San Antonio’s music scene by amplifying the talent of local artists and offering a shared platform with national acts. In addition to the artists playing on The Espee’s main stage, the plaza stage will welcome eight Texas-based bands, six of which are San Antonio-based.

“Sunset” is a nod to the history of the venue, which neighbors Sunset Depot, the 1902 Southern Pacific Railroad Station located in historic St. Paul Square - Nestled in the heartbeat of downtown San Antonio neighboring St Paul Square, The Espee was originally named The Southern Pacific Railroad’s Sunset Limited Train Route. It quickly became a famous train station that served as a central connection to a multitude of states such as California, Missouri, Louisiana, and many more. Over the years it earned nicknames such as “The Building of 1000 lights”, “The Crossroads of America” and “The S.P.” Once known as Sunset Station, the newly renovated The Espee brings premiere live entertainment to downtown San Antonio.
