With over 40 years in the entertainment industry, Lionel has been involved with a diverse spectrum of the industry as a creative as well as a business manager. This includes running a live music venue, a live music booking agency (exited after 4 years), founding and being senior editor and co-publisher of an entertainment magazine (exited after 2 years), and managing a sync licensing agency. Lionel is currently holding the position of CEO of SyncLodge, the All-In-One Music Sync Licensing Management Platform. Lionel is on the board of directors and co-chair of the education committee for IAFAR, the International Association For Artists and Rightsholders. Lionel is a member of the Web3 Music Rights Group.
On the creative side, Lionel has played 1000’s of shows in many countries, written hundreds of songs, and co-written many more. He has produced albums, engineered recordings, arranged music, and has 12 albums released under his name.
Lionel is currently seen as an expert on the entertainment industry, with the core focus on the mechanics and revenue streams of the music industry, and IP rights management. He is consistently being invited to speak at industry conferences, international forums including United Nations keynote speaker and panel moderator, and to do educational workshops at recognized industry educational institutions in the USA, Canada, the UK, and Europe.
