In 2017, the Music Hungary Association grew out of the Music Hungary Conference, which has been held annually since 2012, with the three main goals of bringing together the music industry players by inducing dialogue, enriching its members with knowledge transfer and a professional attitude, and last but not least, providing professional representation to the government towards decision makers.

The Association not only represents the interests of the domestic music industry and continuously communicates with the actors through its specialized divisions, it is an active participant in the creation and operation of state initiatives such as music export, talent management, or strengthening the audience base.
