Thirsty Pretzels Inc. is a music industry services company based in Toronto, ON. We focus primarily on grant writing - working with independent artists, record labels, management companies, non-profit organizations and festivals to secure funding for their projects and businesses. We have secured $5M+ in funding in the past 5 years.

Built on a foundation of 10+ years of artist management experience, we offer a proactive, comprehensive and collaborative approach to grant funding. Our mission is to provide valuable, capacity-building, in-demand services to music companies and artists across genres while providing free resources for the music industry at large.

When we take on a new grant funding client, we start with an in-person meeting or a video call to discuss their upcoming plans, projects, funding needs, and timelines and our approach and rates. Then, we follow up with an email outlining suggested programs and requirements and send a combined list of questions for onboarding and asset collection. Along with a completed rough draft, we include a list of clarifying questions, a list of remaining assets required and our own suggestions to add or adjust details according to the scoring criteria. Upon final revision, we send the application to the client for approval and then submit it. Our services include profile setup and updates, application writing, project updates and final reports.
